Of course, SVN could display the url (or the most significant part of it...) in the explorer status bar. When I evaluated Accurev, they did this and it looked good. They added several panels to the status bar (like winzip does - I think) but I can't remember what they were, or find a screenshot :(

Still, just the end of the url would make a big difference, so you can see which url you're pointing at.
