TortoiseSVN corrupts Java JRE location for RSSOwl

When I install TortoiseSVN, RSSOwl (http://www.rssowl.org/) stops working because its Java JRE path has been altered to 'C:\Program Files\RSSOwl\jre\bin\javaw.exe' which does not contain a JRE.
Uninstalling Tortoise fixes the problem, as does manually setting the JRE path for RSSOwl by specifying a shortcut with target '"C:\Program Files\RSSOwl\RSSOwl.exe" -vm "C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin"'
