Thanks. I didn't know about the limitation regarding comparing a file
before and after a rename.
However, I get this error when I try comparing any two revisions done
before the rename. The exact error is "'/svn/test!svn/trunk/test2.txt'
path not found". The filename in the error message is the name of the
file after I did the rename even though I am comparing to revisions
that occurred before the rename.
What makes me think that this is an issue with one of the newer
versions of TortoiseSVN is that when I create a working directory on a
machine that has 1.5.5 installed, I can compare the same two revisions
using the exact same procedure fine. However, every machine that I've
tried that has 1.6.1 installed fails.
Any ideas?
