This bug is e x t r e m e l y annoying and topic starter is far from
being the only one experiencing it. I've accidentally closed log
window by hitting Esc button at least 10 times over the last few days.
I'm pretty confident this is a TortoiseSVN bug as I havent' seen it in
any other application running on my machine.

It's amazing to hear this bug is not even considered to be fixed.
