Thanks for trying to reproduce the problem.

I have two computer here where the problem is reproductible.
The problem disappears on both computer when I removed TortoiseSNV

There might be something to dig.

Are you running your project on Windows Vista ?
My personnal version is Vista Home Ed. Premium x32 and x64 bits

Note that if you are running a x64 bits version, beware to do the
following:

1- If you are running TortoiseSnv in x32 bits, you must compile and
debug DllHushk in x32 to reproduce the problem.
2- If you are running TortoiseSnv in x64 bits, you must compile and
debug DllHushk in x64 to reproduce the problem.

My version of Tortoise is 1.5.6.14908
