Does Tortoise support logical link in Unix?

From: Kevin <cykhung_at_gmail.com>

I have searched for "logical link" in this newsgroup but nothing comes
up.

I think svn supports logical link in linux and so my co-worker commits
a logical link into svn and this works. However when I checkout the
logical link from the repository using tortoise, it creates a file
(the logical link points to a directory). I would think that since
windows does not support logical link, tortoise would create the
directory (pointed by the logical link) in my local workspace.

Is there anyway to get tortoise to create the directory pointed to by
the logical link?

Thanks.
