In my case (which could be different than the OP's case) 64-bit
version is for the (default) 64-bit Explorer on my 64-bit Vista, and
the 32-bit version is for a lot of other 32-bit applications like my
favourite editor, Firefox, etc.

In my case tho everything works just fine.
