move/tag problem: path <...> does not exist in revision

Hi,

my problem is as follows:

- I decided to tag an older revision (678) of my svn project (not the
head revision 683)

- As I forgot to create the svn project with trunk / tag / branch
subdirectories, I created those directories in the repo-browser (in
the 'root' of the project) and moved the entire project to the 'trunk'
directory (also using the repo-browser)

- I then use the 'branch/tag' context menu operation on a specific
project file ('baumann.doc'), replace 'trunk' with 'tag' in the 'To
Url', tick 'Specific revision' and choose the older revision 678
(which dates from before moving the project to the 'trunc' directory)
using the revision log dialog.

- after clicking 'OK' in the brach/tag dialog, the error message 'Path
'https://81503NN1.flatirons.nist.gov:8443/svn/fabesthy_svn_repos/
Papers/f8_pm/trunk/baumann.doc' does not exist in revision 678'
appears.

Any ideas how I can do this tag? I am able to access the old revision
using 'save revision as' in the file's context menu in the revision
log dialog, so the data is still around...

The move was done using TortoiseSVN-1.4.8.12137-win32-svn-1.4.6; for
the tag operation, I additionally tried the latest version
(TortoiseSVN-1.5.6.14908-win32-svn-1.5.5) - both with the same error
described above.

Thanks,

Fabrizio
