Authentication Issues

I know authentication issues have come up in the past, Ibut I've looked
over the archives and I can't find a solution to the difficulty I'm
having. Our Subversion server had to be reset and so did the Subversion
account passwords. I can log into Subversion server directly, so the
passwd file is not the source of the problem. But I can't log in using
Tortoise. When the authentication dialog box comes up, I enter the user
name and passwd, but the blank dialog box simply reappears after I click
on the OK button. I've tried clearing the authentication data from the
Tortoise settings -- same results. I've also tried removing Tortoise
from my PC and then re-installing it -- same results.

Can anyone diagnose what is happening and tell me how I can get Tortoise
to accept my reset password?

Thanks,
Josh Silverman
