TSVN seems to ignore 'store-passwords' or 'store-auth-creds'

I'm planning to use TSVN on a computer where everybody logs in as the same user. So I wan't do disable caching of credentials. This should be able with 'store-passwords=no' or 'store-auth-creds=no' but both did not work for me. I've tried the config file from the 'Settings' dialog as well as the registry, both HKLM and HKCU, but nothing worked. Or do I misinterpret how the flags work?

What I'm doing:
- In Explorer context menu select 'Repo-browser'
- Enter URL
- In the authentication dialog enable 'save authentication'
- repository is displayed
- close the browser
- on next access to the repository the authentication dialog does not reappear

I would expect if I disable storing credentials that I have to log in again every time I tried to access the repository.

Environment:
Client: TSVN 1.5.5.14361 with German langauge pack on XP, user is member of admin group (switching language to english didn't work either)
Server: 1.5.4-1 (CollabNet binary) using svnserve on Windows Server

Any thoughts?
Michael
