That's true when branching/tagging from a working copy, but ...

not without a WC, working only in the repo browser (TSVN 1.5.5).

Neither are intermediate folders created, nor is it (any longer)
possible to create a tag from an older revision.
That was the problem I wanted to address in my original post.

May I propose, that the "copy to ..." dialog in the repo browser is
extended to look similar to the branch/tag dialog in the shell
extention?
