People's names change easily & frequently. UserIDs rarely do. To store
the "real name" along with the userID would require additional work
(and the supporting code) on the server, for minimal real benefit.

If you need real names instead of user IDs, generate a changelog via a
script which does the translations using your AD data at the time the
output is created.
