No error messages of any kind.

It's possible, but I don't use any tools but TSVN that would be
messing with them.

User error is always a likely possibility, but I don't have commit
rights to the repository, I made sure I had no locally modified files
before the update, there are no tags in the repository, I always
update from the head, and I've never performed a switch because
there's nothing to switch to.

The only thing I can think of is that there's one folder in the WC
that's a checkout from a different (local) repository. It's always
been ignored in updates of the project and has never caused trouble
before.

One more question: In "check for modifications," does TSVN check the
actual content of the local files against those in the repository, or
does it generate what it thinks is in the files from the accumulated
difs it has stored? I'm wondering if it's even possible for TSVN to
give no errors and report that there are no modifications when one or
more files don't match the head version in the repository.

Thanks for the info and suggestions.
