Tortoise Crashing when proxy not configured properly - not able to change it either

Dear Support,

I have run into an interesting issue and I am not sure how
to fix the problem. I am pretty sure that I have a bug at hand. Here is
what I did.

1) I had a directory under source control. I had some issues
connecting to the repository and when into configure the proxy under the
setting/network option. I got to that menu by selecting settings with a
right click on the directory.

2) I accidentally entered a bad proxy server, but before I realized
what I had done, I clicked ok. I went to make the correction but..

3) When I click on the network tab the entire window now closes - and
not in a good way L. I have attached a file showing where I am clicking.

4) I have tried to remove tortoise completely with a reinstall - no go
(including reboots). Also - I checked the servers file - nothing was
entered there - I figured that this info is stored somewhere where I could
enter it manually - but no go. I also looked for a button that says
"restore all original settings" but I don't think that is there yet. I have
also deleted the tortoise directory under the app data for my account on
this system.

5) So now I am stuck - since this is a global configuration, I can't
connect to my source control and can't fix it either.

Anyways, that is the scoop - what additional information can I provide to
help? I am new at this so I apologize if I didn't get enough detail.

Thanks for your time,

Sincerely,

Steve Chadwick
