Can i reposition folders offline?

From: key <akeybupt2004_at_gmail.com>

sometimes i work at home, and i want to change the location of some
folder,says move /folderB to
/folderA/folderB.
i know it can be easily done through the repository browser, but what
if i can't connect to the repository. if i done these in my working
copy directly anyway, it seems that next times i commit, svn will
delete /folderB without adding /folderA/folderB/
is this situation happened to anyone here ?!
