Hi Stefan,

  What's odd is that having a default host name in putty worked with
Tortoise versions < 1.5.x. Anyways, it appears that a mystery has been
solved for myself and others. It may be something worth noting this in
the TortoiseSVN documentation. Seems like an issue that can easily
arise.
