Unable to perform a file diff from the commit screen.

When using TortoiseSVN 1.5.2.13595, I'm unable to perform a diff (Compare
with base) from within the commit window (ie: double-clicking on any one of
the changed files that are marked to be committed). When I attempt to do
so, I get the following error:

     [TortoiseSVN]
Could not start external diff program!
     ----------------------------------------------------
     The directory name is invalid.

I've tried to use both TortoiseMerge and external viewers (both Araxis and
Winmerge) but none make any difference. From the log, I'm able to perform
the diff but from the commit screen only (so far), I get the above error.

If I downgrade to 1.5.0 (Build 13316) or earlier, I'm able to perform the
diff from the commit screen.

Does anyone have any suggestions or has anyone else encountered this problem
yet?

Thanks for your time.

John
