I don't understand this statement. What do you mean by having
TortoiseSVN linked to PuTTY?

Firstly have you tried a nightly build from the stable branch? The
1.5.0 release of TortoisePlink was built from a buggy release of
Plink. A better version has been used in the nightly.

Secondly, if you have multiple connections defined in PuTTY see if
