roll back

I recently upgraded from 1.4.8 to 1.5.0r13316 and when I click commit
the window just hangs indefinitely. I uninstalled 1.5.0 to roll back
to 1.4.8 but when I try to commit TSVN complains that I need a newer
version -- I presume the .svn files have been updated and now only
work with the newer version.

Q) Is there a way to undo this .svn file conversion process?

p.s. I also tried the nightly build 1.5.0r13496 and that didn't even
show up in Explorer. My OS is MS.Vista
