I know about it, and it's not quite what I'm after.

Perhaps it would be possible to have a setting to keep the dialogs open in
all cases, but close automatically after a little time (and stop the countdown
if they're interacted with)?

I'm sorry to be so seemingly-lazy-UI-like - this whole thing is to save me
the need to click on things to dismiss them, but keep them there if I find
that I need them, after all. I want to be clear, though: I don't mean to
suggest that TSVN isn't the best and most flexibly useful tool that I've
ever had the pleasure to use (because, quite frankly, it is).

I wish there were a button on my mouse I could map to "escape", too.
