"Can't create directory - Permission denied" message

I'm trying to complete a new installation of SVN with TortoiseSVN and
when I connect from TortoiseSVN to my new repository, the next message
appears:

Can't create directory '/svn/repository_name/db/transactions/0-1.txn':
Permission denied

I was reading some notes about this issue but I still can't solve it.
Can anybody help me ?
