sharing files between two repos

I know this is a somewhat basic question, but here it goes ;-)

I am managing two related projects using Visual Basic 6. The projects
share a set of .bas source files, and virtually nothing else.
Up to this point, the source was managed manually (very small team, very
small projects).
Recently I started using SVN and Tortoise to manage them, hosting the
files on an internet accessible repository (Apache + SVN setup, working
fine).
My really simple question is: what is The Right Way to manage the two
sets of files and their shared source? I was thinking on having the two
projects use a separate repository, but is there a way to "share"
automatically the .bas files between the two of them?
Thanks in advance,
