file is removed upon svn update of a locally modified file that is deleted on the server

Hi,

Today I performed a "SVN Update" on my repository. A colleague had
(re-)moved two files on the server. Those same files were modified by me
locally.

The update screen reported both files as deleted (which is good). One of
the files was still available on my HDD, the other one was actually
deleted from my HDD as well (which is not so good).

I would say that it is safest to keep any modified files on the HDD,
even if the files are deleted from the server. If so, you can still view
your changes and apply them to any new file(s).

Kind Regards,
