RE: Retrieve previous version for a file

I think you have update with version X, then merge the file from X to
X-2, and then commit. Or copy X-2 aside, update with X, copy X-2 back
in, and commit. When you update with X-2 I suspect BASE is X-2 so
Subversion doesn't see any differences.

Subject: Retrieve previous version for a file

Hello,

I'm a new user of TurtoiseSVN. I'm testing some functionalities of this
product.
I have a problem to 'cancel' modifications in file.

The current version of my file is X. For example: I see that I have made
some mistakes in this file. I want to restart my dev with version X-2
without making modifications in the file.
With tutoiseSVN, I ask to update to rev X-2, and it's OK. Just after,
and
without modification in, I want to commit this file (and restart with
version X+1). I use commit order, but TurtoiseSVN response is: No
modifications for tis file and my commit is not realized.

Have you an idea how to proceed ?

Thanks

Emmanuel
