Can you please try the 1.4.x nightly build from:
http://nightlybuilds.tortoisesvn.net/1.4.x/

If that one works too, then I can make an official 1.4.8 release.

The release date for 1.5 hasn't been set yet. But Subversion has already
created the stabilizing branch 1.5.x, which means it will be ready soon
(my guess is that 1.5.0 will get released in march or april).
