Build system copy causes tracking

Hi,

I just started using TortoiseSVN and I really like it. One question:

When I build my project, some checked-in files are copied to an output binary directory that is outside of source control.

It looks like the explorer plug-in is catching the copy of a checked-in file. As such it thinks this is a missed move (?) and places a .svn directory and associated metadata in the target binaries directory. Thus, the plug-in shows the target directory with a red-bang overlay.

Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening or something that I am doing wrong?

Thanks,
Matt
