TMerge in 3-pane mode

I've been having a problem with TMerge in 3-pane (conflict editor) mode.
I'm now on r11898 on 32 bit XP SP2. The location selector bar (or
whatever you call that thing on the left) doesn't draw for me. It will
either show up as blank or as artifacts of whatever was drawn there
before it. Attached are a couple of demonstration screen captures. It
is still clickable for navigation. In diff mode (single or double pane)
it works fine.
