[Bug] (Nightly Build): Update dialog slow

First of all I want to note that I haven't seen a nightly build that hasn't
exposed this issue.

Operating system: Vista x86 Business
Test Case: Do a full checkout of the C++ boost library

I notice that when I am doing updates that involve hundreds or thousands of
files, it progressively gets slower the fuller the log gets. In other words,
as the list of "Added" files (in the case of a fresh checkout) gets larger,
the system eventually slows down to a crawl. As you already know, placing
the scroll bar to the bottom of the list during a checkout causes the list
to scroll automatically for you in such a way that the bottom of the list
always shows the latest item added during the checkout. If you scroll away
from the bottom, it no longer will auto-scroll for you. I am able to make
TortoiseSVN speed up by disabling this automatic scrolling. By doing this, I
notice my transfer speed increases dramatically and the operating system
moves much more smoothly.

Not sure if this is a known but or not but I figured it was worth
mentioning.
