Moved files problem.

Hi everyone,

This is my first post on the Tortoise mailing list so my apologies if
I do not abide by the rules of this mailing list.

I was wondering if there is a feature to allow Tortoise, or SVN for
that matter, to change the path of missing target files in a diff file
listing.

I ask this because we have a huge solution in Visual Studio and are
working on splitting this solution into more modular solutions so we
don't spend half a day waiting for Visual Studio to compile, analyze
and what ever it is doing... In this process we have moved files to
new (sub)projects and now SVN cannot find a lot of files (+/- 10k
files). Using WinMerge it is hardly easy to merge all changes
currently done in the current mass solution to the new modular
solutions.

Does anyone know if it is possible to let SVN know that files have
been moved to a different location with or without having to start
over? Would prefer not starting all over.

Regards,

Hielke Hoeve
