Updating only a single directory.

I'm stumped trying to work out how to update only a single directory of
a previously checked out tree. I've checked out a tree from a
repository, using checking out only the top directory. Now I want to
checkout/update one of its subdirectories. From the command line I
would do this with 'svn update foo', but I can't find the same
functionality in Tortoise. Does it exist?
