Something doesn't add up here, and I think you know it.
You said before that only if you have your working copy on the SAMBA
drive that the menus and overlays don't work right, but they do on a
local drive. But that's not true. It simply can't.
TSVN *never* shows you a different overlay if there are changes in the
repository. No matter where you have your working copy.
