Renaming a folder?

From: Gary W. <gary_at_monsoonmultimedia.com>

I've really gotten into some deeeeep trouble on this one.

I'd like to change the name of a folder in the repository. Such as

Release 1.4, change it to Release 1.6.

There's a right way and a wrong way, for sure I have been using the wrong way
because I have a total mess on my hands.

I am gradually piecing the bits back together so most likely there's no overall
advice for the bits and pieces I have, though I am quite mystfied by one thing.

I have managed to copy files from local backup into the checkout folders and am
trying to commit them back to the repository, but run into this error message:

Error: Commit failed (details follow):

Error: PROPFIND request failed on

'/monsoon/Doc/OEM/Release%20EU%201.6/Setup%20Wizard%20Online%20Help
/German/Images'

Error:

'/monsoon/Doc/OEM/Release%20EU%201.6/Setup%20Wizard%20Online%20Help
/German/Images'

path not found

(I HAD TO BREAK THE LINES AT 80 CHARACTERS)

Looks like it is choking on the %20 = space translation, but the "Add" command
 shows no such error.

What should I do?

Thanks!
