Welcome to the world of using a very good revision control system.

If your questions are about how to use TortoiseSVN then this is the
right list otherwise I suggest a couple of things.
Firstly have a good read of the Subversion on-line documentation
available at
http://svnbook.red-bean.com/

I think you will find this will not only answer your questions but
provide a really good understanding and save having to ask you a few
more in the future.

If you still have questions about how to manage and organize your
repository then subscribe to the svn user's list:-

I'm not sure, from what you have asked that I understand the question
well enough to be able to give you a simple proper answer.
I cannot tell from this if you are using TortoiseSVN or to command line
client SVN.
