thanks for your reply. sorry, i don't know how to continue the thread so i'll post anew.

i followed your link to issue 137 and not quite sure if i understand what you're suggesting.
maybe is it that i should create a client-side hook that automatically makes a hotcopy of the repository to some predefined location after each commit?

i was hoping to be able to do something like occassionally plug in my USB stick, fire up repo-browser, right-click my repository, choose "hotcopy" from a context menu, then browse to the USB stick.
