automatic authentication issues

I have some strange automatic authentication issues which only appeared with
1.4.1.

My Subversion server is on Apache 2.0.54 with sspi 1.04 module and has the
settings as documented in the TortoiseSVN setup instructions.

SVN commandline --no-auth-cache works fine on all versions from 1.3 onwards.
No username/password is being asked, except when the username contains an _
. I suppose this might be due to the neon unicode handling problems.
TSVN 1.4.0 - cleared cache - connects to the repository using the logged on
user without problems. The cache is not used (Clear button remains grayed
out).
TSVN 1.4.1 - cleared cache - immediately pops up the username/password
dialog. The Apache access log shows that no username is being passed to
Apache. Nothing shows up in the Apache error log. After cancelling the TSVN
dialog it returns this error : Error * PROPFIND request failed on
'/svn/DBARepository' PROPFIND of '/svn/DBARepository': authorization failed
(http://servername:8888)

Would this be a problem in our setup or is it due to changes within TSVN?

Hans
