I have the same problem with the icon overlays. Cleanup works only for a
short time. After committing the problem re-appears. Sometimes the cleanup
doesn't work at all.

At the moment I am working with overlays in shell mode, this is more
reliable but also very slow on each directory change.

Using: latest tortoise release (1.4.1) on windows XP (service pack 2).

I am not subscribed to this mailinglist so I would appreciate getting a
