RE: Check-out/update symbolic links (symlinks) on Linux w-c

Thanks for the advice Lübbe but we are happy with out set-up, apart from this one small problem.

Our developers all work on Windows PCs but our servers are (almost) all Linux. We decided to put our developer working copies on
Linux servers as it is much, much easier to reliably replicate the live hosting environment and therefore to test appropriately
while developing - especially since our hosting environments vary in the versions of Apache, MySQL, PHP etc., which would be
nightmare to replicate on each developer's Windows PC.

So far this solution has worked pretty well for us - full credit to the TortoiseSVN team! :-)

Cheers

That could be possible, but I'd bluntly say "Use a Linux client to operate
on a Linux FS" and not a Windows Client. I would not expect a windows client
implementation to take care of Linux specific features.
