Tortoise and 'switching'

Hello,

I think the TortoiseSVN combination is a really effective tool for
version control and I have even managed to migrate my company to using
it (from VSS) after advocating it for over two years.

I have a question about searching working copies that if answered would
make my job a lot easier.

If I check-out trunk and then switch files and folders to a separately
created branch as I work but then forget what I have switched, how do I
find the switched files and folders again?

In a more general setting, how do I manage the switch functionality in a
collection of working copies.

If I could use the in-built windows search mechanism that would solve
the problem to some extent: How would I search for a file or folder
using the same column headings that are available such as 'SVN Status',
'SVN short Url' and 'SVN Author'.

Many thanks
