Not that this isn't a reasonable idea, but SeaMonkey/Mozilla does not
have this ability, and I expect that Thunderbird (the companion email
client for FireFox) doesn't either (natively - there could be a plugin
for T-Bird)... so this would still leave a substantial number of users
out in the cold. ;)

I too personally find lists which "normalize" the headers this way to
be more convenient.
