Yes. Not as comfortable as comparing URLs is (especially in 1.4.0),
but it does the job.

Hold the shift key while right-clicking in your working copy. The
first menu entry will be "Compare with URL". Select it, enter the
URL of your branch. TMerge will be be opened with the "File
Patches" window open. It lists the files that are different between
your WC and the branch. Double click a file to see the diff.

If it doesn't work, "Compare with URL" might be a feature of 1.4.0
that will be released soon.
