"Working Copy Locked" Question

From: Rob Wilkerson <r.d.wilkerson_at_gmail.com>
Date: 2006-08-14 16:39:42 CEST

I previously exported repository contents for an earlier product
release in order to simply get the application up and running. I now
need to check out the repository so I can make a change against the
earlier code. When I attempt to do so, however, I get an error that
the working copy is locked.

I'm new to both Subversion and, of course, TortoiseSVN so I'm trying
to understand what would be causing this. There are no .svn
directories anywhere beneath the directory I'm trying to check out to.

Thanks.
