An URL doesn't have information about the target in it, i.e. if the URL
points to a file or a folder. That's why the repobrowser treats all URLs
as if they're pointing to a folder.

Here, you're manually entering an URL, so TSVN can't know if it's a file
or a folder or if it even exists. Only when you try to expand the node
later, you'll get an error and you'll know then.

The same here.

Here, we actually *could* know if it's a file or a folder. But we would
have to make sure that the user didn't actually edit the url before
pressing enter, and do even some more checks. So I think we should just
leave it at that.

Here again, we can't know what the URL points to.

Ok, we can find out where an URL points to, but we'd have to contact the
repository for that. And every contact with the repository takes some
time until we get the answer, which would make the whole UI respond very
slowly (i.e. bad user experience). So we just leave it the way it is:
the user will know soon enough (by expanding such a node) if it's a file
or a folder.
