svn st -v seems to be correct.
The weird thing is that this was all working (and had been for months).
The only changes I have made are:
1. upgraded to 1.5.2
2. installed netbeans 5.0 and java 1.5.2
3. installed eclipse (latest)
4. updated ZoneAlarms to 6.5.700

p.s. I tried disabling ZoneAlarm. It did not change anything.
