Feature request: three-paned merge

Would it be possible to allow an additional mode in TortoiseMerge where
instead of popping up another window when viewing diff it would just be
displayed in two panes just below the list of file. Something like:

| list of diff files |
| |
----------------------
| | |
| base | copy |
| | |
----------------------

I think that it would make navigating changes easier and faster. Also the
proportions of the three panes should be user-djustable.
