So it doesn't seem to me like it's necessarily a working copy in the
drive root issue, but believe what you will.

FYI using a subfolder, excluding *, including only that subfolder I'm at
102Mb Virtual 55Mb peak/working.

Aren't you the one with a working copy in the drive root? IIRC there was
no good answer to that one except to move it into another folder.
