Feature Question

I read the articles about how you can define svn:keywords. And how before
checking in a file or project those keywords will get updated to receive
the last check-in time or revision number. What I am looking for is
something is something like this but a little different. I was wondering
if SVN had the option to be able to update the version number of .exe and
.dll before a check-in is made? I know it is very possible to change the
version number on .exe and .dll files after they are created. I know
because I have accomplished this with C++.
