restoring repository from backup

hello
i recently added a new hard drive to my machine and reformatted the
old drives (operating system too), i backed up the folder that
contains all my repositories the bad way =S, by just copying it to the
backup drive.

how can i get my repositories back to work? i've read the manual but i
haven't found a way to get the repositories back into tortoise svn for
the way i backed them up. the drive letter and the path are the same
