How to disable the shell-extension without losing local checkouts

Hi,

I have a problem with a third party program (SWF Studio from
Northcode.com) which conflicts with TortoiseSVN about the MSVCR80.dll.
The problem is primarily on the third party developers program, and they
have promised a fix sometime soon. I just cannot wait any longer and
must start using their software today.

Thus I would like to either rollback to some version of Subversion not
using this DLL (which the Northcode-guys said was a quite recent
thing?), or somehow disable the shell-extension in order to be able to
use SWF Studio, then when done using this, re-enable the shell-extension
and committing these changed files.

Is this possible in some fashion?

My subversionversion is 1.3.2, Build 5840 - 32 Bit

Also, if someone believes, that this behaviour could somehow be the
fault of TortoiseSVN, I will of course give full feedback and enable you
to recreate, but it is actually very easily done downloading the trial
of SWF Studio 3.2 and from there opening any "browse"-dialog (press Open
or Save).

Thanks in advance.
