Personally I'd be ok if it just used the exact revision of the object
the log was initiated from. If it is a directory, and sub items of
the directory are higher revisions due to commits or seperate
updatesthen that's something I'd prefer to just figure out on my own.
I'd only want this as a quick way to determine what has possibly been
done in the log since I last updated the object. Figuring out if I
commited some of those things or if i updated some of them deeper in
the directory tree seperately is alright.
