To add on what Stefan already mentioned. If you are like me who always wants
to see the difference between my local working directories and the
repository, you can change the settings so that "Check for Modifications"
always automatically check repository.

+ Choose Settings on the context menu
+ Choose either Dialogs or Dialogs 1 or 2 (depends on which version of TSVN
you are using)
+ Check the box "Contact repository on startup".
